This year, we've experienced a very hot summer. 💥 In our last lesson at Little Cubs, we explored the aquarium and then enjoyed a delightful picnic on the beach! 😃 🏖️

While listening to Saint-Saëns's Aquarium from The Carnival of the Animals, the children mastered swimming (yóu yǒng) alongside various fish (yú). They took deep breaths before diving into the water (shuǐ). Their swimming gestures were impressive, perfectly mimicking the fish movements.

At the seaside, we encountered magnificent sea creatures, including the crab (páng xiè), octopus (zhāng yú), whale (jīng yú), walrus (hǎi xiàng), and the formidable shark (shā yú)! 🦈

Oh no, we need to run (pǎo)! 🫨

We then had a picnic, discovering treats inside our basket. Among the delicious food, we focused on the fruits (shuǐ guǒ). We sang a song to introduce these fruits: apple (píng guǒ), banana (xiāng jiāo), watermelon (xī guā), grape (pú táo), orange (jú zi), and pear (lí zi). They are all juicy and delicious (hǎo chī), and we absolutely love them (wǒ ài tā) in this hot weather!

Enjoy a wonderful holiday break, everyone, and we'll see you refreshed in the autumn term! ❤️
