Mellow Melody Makers 2025-2026 ABRSM Exams: Impressive results!

Many MMM students participated in the ABRSM graded exams from the autumn term of 2025 to the summer term of 2026, in addition to managing their demanding learning schedules both within and outside the school.

They have gained substantial knowledge through the content, techniques, and presentation of the music they performed.

The impressive exam results reflect the significant effort they have invested over the past year:

The total number of students who participated in the exams this year was 24, with 9 candidates taking the digital Performance Grades.

The distribution of students by instruments or type was as follows: 21 for piano, 2 for flute, and 1 for music theory.

Students took exams across various grades: 1 for Grade 1, 5 for Grade 2, 6 for Grade 3, 4 for Grade 4, 4 for Grade 5, 2 for Grade 7, and 2 for Grade 8.

I am extremely proud that, once again, everybody passed. The number of students who passed with Merit was 6 (25%) and Distinction 12 (50%), with the highest score being 141 out of 150. 

Your diligent efforts have indeed been rewarded. Congratulations on this accomplishment!

I hope you take pride in your achievements and all you have acquired. Regardless of the exam results, I am pleased to see students continuing to learn and play the music they enjoy. Exams are a short-term milestone that aids learning, but we all understand that the appreciation and passion for music you have developed will support and inspire your long-term musical journey.
