Mini Mandarin Players 2019 Spring Term Registration

Following the very successful first term of Mini Mandarin Players, we are going to continue the Mandarin learning journey in the Spring term (March and April).

We believe children don’t learn a language well by doing drills. Instead, children learn rather effectively via playing with curiosity. In the new term, a number of inter-disciplinary topics are carefully constructed through the areas of science, mathematics, social and emotional development.

At the first phase of the lessons, we encourage children to enhance their Mandarin skills while exploring the surrounding world. We compare different objects in sizes, lengths and numbers in Mandarin, and also learn our body parts and motions.

At the second phase of the lessons, children are expected to be more confident in speaking Mandarin for their early-stage social life. For instance, they learn to start a conversation with friends by greetings, introducing themselves and talking about their own families. They will also learn to use Mandarin to describe their feelings.
