Autumn Colours

It almost approaches the end of this autumn (秋天, qiū tiān). In this beautiful season we have explored the colours in the nature and among special events. We learned songs about the colour changing of leaves (葉子, yè zi ), rainbows（彩虹, cǎi hóng ）in the sky, and the firework（煙火, yān huǒ ）in the bonfire night!

The colours we have learned in this term are:

• hóng sè (red)

• huáng sè (yellow)

• fěn hóng sè (pink)

• lǜ sè (green)

• zǐ sè (purple)

• jú sè  (orange)

• lán sè  (blue)

In addition, we used colourful props to incorporate colour learning and movements, ex: playing bean bags and boomwhackers with music. Toddlers also played a card game to differentiate colours, and they certainly had fun playing it!
